Welcome to The Shen Clinic

What do we do?  We specialise in Complementary and Alternative Medicine the definition of which follows:
“The term Complementary and Alternative Medicine (C.A.M.) refers to any therapy that is not provided by orthodox health practitioners such as doctors, dentists and nurses.

The Cochrane Collaboration defines C.A.M. as a broad domaine of healing resources that encompasses all health systems, modalities, practices and their accompanying theories and beliefs, other than those intrinsic to the politically dominant health systems of a particular society or culture in any given historic period.  C.A.M. is understood to mean therapies that are presented as an option to conventional or Western medical treatment (orthodox).

For example - when cancer patients choose not to have chemotherapy or radiotherapy, and instead follow a special dietary regime.”

In 2007 we participated at the Co-Reach Conference hosted by the Royal Society (London). To discuss future research and scientific collaboration between the E.U. and China.

Mike Lambert of the Shen Clinic was selected as a member of a proposed E.U. research team and listed as a delegate and speaker for the World Medical Acupuncture Conference held in Budapest, Hungary in October 2008.

The clinic has also agreed in principle to a collaboration between ourselves and the world famous Peto Institute Budapest in setting up a Peto type Institute here in the UK, along with a degree level training course in Conductive Education.
We have recently received letters from HRH The Prince of Wales, and we will continue to offer him advice and support for his views on such topics as GM crops and foods, as well as the integration of C.A.M. into our state healthcare system.

The main practitioners are:

Mike Lambert PhD MoA FION MCMIR FCIPD MSHTox.

Take a glass of water to bed and leave it on the bedside cabinet.
When you awaken, spit into the water.
Do NOT try to gather spit from the inside of your mouth, just spit whatever you have, however little, into the water.
Allow to stand for 15 minutes, then gently swill the contents round in the glass.

Hold glass up to the light.
If the spit remains on top of the water, or dissolves, you are OK.
If it turns the water cloudy, you have a
Positive Indicator.

"Hold glass up to the light.  If water turns cloudy, or legs appear descending down through the water you may have a Candida imbalance.
In such cases you might like to consider contacting us for advice or alternatively you might like to consider going to www.naturopharma.com. for product suggestions."
(Always be responsible regarding your health and seek advice from a medical practitioner where you have any health concerns.)
