BIOMERIDIAN SCREENING

Biomeridian Screening

We have been around bio-energetic screening technology for quite a long time, and the old saying that practice makes perfect is certainly true when it comes to being effective in the use of both the technology, and the interpretation of bio-energetic screening results, because in our experience it depends greatly upon the knowledge, skills and experience of the practitioner.  In addition, we have many years of practice and study in the principles of the Meridian, Acupuncture-Point system of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and when linked with some of our other skills and studies in areas such as Nutrition and Homotoxicology this makes us one of the most knowledgeable providers of this sort of screening method.

BIOMERIDIAN Is a method of assessing energy imbalances in the body based upon electrical measurements taken at specific acupuncture points. The information is then processed by a sophisticated data-base which gives the practitioner an indication as to the function of all the various organs via an on-screen display, a measurement indicator and computer read-out which, when collated, offers the practitioner invaluable information, which, when analysed will enable them to offer an opinion as to the best course of therapy, or action.

HOW DOES BIOMERIDIAN WORKS

This technology is based upon similar principle as an ECG scan it applies a minute amount of electricity (physically undetectable) with a stylus at a specific acupuncture point, or Acu-point, on the body. It is usual to use a protocol that takes readings at 58 Acu-points situated on the hands and feet.  These points can be found at precise intervals and locations along the Meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which are taken to be superhighways of photon information.

The 58 readings that are taken correlate to specific organs and systems according to the theories of TCM. For each point, the MSAS equipment records how much electricity passes through the meridian pathway to a corresponding brass cylinder being held in the opposite hand of those being screened. A figure is given for each point, ranging between 0-100. This reading is used by the practitioner to assess what areas of the body are most significantly out of balance, relative to the standard electrical impedance found in healthy individuals.

This process provides unique and personalised information of all major organs and systems in the body at an energetic level and this can assist the practitioner in identifying the appropriate course of action.

However, we can use MSA screening to measure the electrical response of the body to any stimulus, supplement, or protocol in real-time. This process allows the practitioner to gain an insight into the patient’s potential energetic reaction to any recommended protocols.

Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) is a term used for describing a non-invasive method of screening electrical imbalances in the body based on resistance measurements taken at 58 specific acupuncture points and then compared to over 1.5 million pieces of information stored in the unit.  This information is then analysed by the practitioner providing an indication as to the balance and functional state of organs and systems

BIOMERIDIAN SCREENING

Bio meridian screening is a non-invasive method used to assess the energy meridians (channels) of the body:

The functional status of your meridians and their related organs, systems, or functions, by determining if they are stressed, balanced, or weakened;   and by how much.

Which specific nutritional formulas might contribute to bringing your unbalanced meridians back to balance.

If a formula you have in hand might bring you to balance.

If you might have specific sensitivities to foods, moulds, pollens, etc.

If spinal misalignments could be interfering with your meridian energy flow, and their location.

The screening is performed by scanning fifty-eight different acupuncture points on both hands and feet which relate to the energy channels (meridians) and their related organs, systems, or functions.

The acu-point measurements are carried out using a state-of-the-art stylus which sends a very small undetectable electrical current (not a shock) through each point, which is recorded and analysed by the on-board computers data base system.

Your appointment could last up to an hour, and should be an enjoyable interactive experience, so wear comfortable clothing and relax.

Following your screening the practitioner will discuss with you the outcome and a plan of action, which may include follow-up screenings if appropriate depending on how far out of balance you are at the time, and the indications that the screening presents.

It is recommended that before being tested you:

1. Drink 8 to 16 ounces of water at least two (2) hours before coming

2. Do not exercise for 12 hours prior to appointment.

3. Do not drink caffeine for at least 4 hours prior to appointment.

4. Do not drink alcohol for 12 hours prior to appointment.

5. Do not use lotion on your hands or feet

6. Remove all jewellery

7. Turn off your cell phone.

8. Avoid wearing tights (ladies)

9. Keep the practitioner informed of any health issues/pacemakers etc.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM THS SCREENING

This sort of screening could be of benefit to anyone interested in examining and improving their functional energetic status.  This applies to those who are unwell or have non-specific symptoms, or those who are looking to take an interest in their health.  Prevention is always best.

Orthodox Medicine is the only medical system that does not acknowledge biological energy.  In this case you will not have been screened for an energetic connection with your health or symptoms.  In our view all health issues affect the biological energy system, and vice versa.
