Homotoxicology was developed by Dr Reckeweg (a German medical doctor and Homeopath) during the 1940’s, and uses both complex homeopathic remedies and nano-pharmaceuticals in homeopathic formulations.
It has been referred to as a revolutionary mechanism which bridges pharmacology and homeopathy in a very scientific and medical way.
These modalities are relatively easy to use in therapeutic situations with each remedy and formula having its own clear therapeutic action, with very few, if any side affects at all. This is different from classical Homeopathy where the remedy has to be matched to the individual.
The Homotoxicology approach to illness views disease as the result of the body’s attempt to self heal by ridding itself of toxins which are either created within the body as a result of cellular function or are absorbed through the chemicals we are exposed to in our environment. In minor self-limiting disorders, the body does this unaided. In more serious situations treatment is needed. If the treatment suppresses the toxins (pharmaceutical intervention can do this as well as many other treatments and therapies), then they go deeper into the tissues and can manifest after a latent period as a more destructive disease. This may lead to chronic degenerative disease, and, ultimately, to serious conditions such as cancer.
Homotoxicology works well as an integrated therapy in the hands of a suitably trained and competent practitioner. It not only aids detoxification but gently supports and stimulates various organs and the immune system leading to the restoration of health and vitality.
Homotoxicology is now being studied by over 20,000 european doctors (the UK as usual is dragging its feet with very few medical doctors participating).
